 Our latest BE Around the World comes to us from Vanessa in the UK. She has kindly sent us pictures taken of herself and her much loved Tan Hold Me. She relates the following:"I relocated from South Africa to the UK in early 2007 to take up a promotion at work. Both my husband and I love history and the countryside and we were advised to join the National Trust. I love the craftsmanship on display in the furniture displayed in these old houses. Coming from a very sunny country, we have learned to make the most of the sun when it shines in England so at the first hint of good weather on the weekend, you'll often find us barreling along country lanes, off to see another place of interest. This photo was taken at Scotney Castle Gardens in July of this year. It started out as a beautiful summer day but I've also learned never to leave home without an umbrella! We were walking around the gardens and it began to rain. I had the umbrella held at an angle to shield my handbag most of the time. I got some strange looks but I figure I have my priorities straight! I initially fell in love with BE bags when I saw a picture in Red magazine of a model holding three Hold Mes in fuchsia, mustard and green. Although my first BE bag was a Stroke Me Medium, I always wanted a Hold Me and the Tan Matte was my first. I love this bag because it can go anywhere with you. It has a deceptively simple design but it really showcases good leather. The Tan Matte is one of the best and works with a host of colours in my wardrobe. It can be really casual, as it was in the garden that day, but it also feels right at home at work. It holds everything I carry on a daily basis and it's really easy to find things when you look into the bag - that's a must for me. The Tan Matte was the start of a HM love affair that has expanded to Black Pebbled Luxe, Turquoise Sheen, and Fuchsia Sheen...so far! I love BE because of the great designs, fabulous customer service and because they are helping to keep alive the art of creating handbags by hand."
