I have been swoooooning in the shower as a result of my new bathing products from Cake Beauty. Founded by Canadian Heather Reier in her own kitchen, Cake’s concept incorporates natural ingredients into beauty products, which not only gives them amazing scents, but ensures they are 100 per cent paraben and petroleum free. So when you lather up with citrus, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, marshmallow, mango or coconut-flavoured products, you’re getting the real deal! Best off, their catalogue explains the benefits of their products; they all have 90 to 95 per cent all natural ingredients. For example, coconut oil is a moisturizing agent that leaves a radiant, glowing sheen, while horse chestnut promotes healthier collages and reduces tension.
To start, I use their Buttery Body Bubbles body wash in ‘sweet cheeks,’ which has shea butter and vitamin E, to gently cleanse my skin. I follow with their Sinfully Smoothing Brown Sugar Scrub, which is utterly decadent … any time I’m near my shower I have to take a whiff! The large granules of sugar naturally exfoliate, leaving my skin feeling sinfully smooth.
Once dry, I moisturize with their Better Body Rub in ‘sweet cheeks,’ which has active ingredients to help tone, firm and reduce the appearance of dimples. Upon completion of this routine, I smell amazing (if I do say so myself) and feel moisturized to the max. Now available world-wide, check out a list of distributors on-line at their website and treat yourself to a little slice of heaven from Cake!
