Yunhi Lee’s serious design pedigree paired with her emphasis on high quality tailoring, makes her one of the most watched designers for Spring 2010.
A former graduate of the Derek Lam school of design, Yunhi says of her aesthetic preferences “I generally like simple, understated pieces with beautiful details that work into my wardrobe and lifestyle.” Her Spring 2010 collection is one of her strongest yet.
Her spring collection takes East Coast colors and patterns and puts a West Coast spin on them. Resulting in wearable pieces perfect for Malibu or Montauk.
Flouncy navy-and-white stripe shorts, a flirty shirtdress with bow details, and demurely feminine tunics that don’t swallow you are standouts. While knit tops, dresses, and skirts are tailored perfectly for throwing on anytime. The whole collection is comfy and cool without an ounce of frumpty and is as appropriate on a workday as a fun day.
