Eye-popping prints

After studying the brain’s response to imagery at Tuft’s University, Ellen Van Dusen translated her passion into Dusen Dusen, a line of eye-popping prints. She came to Brooklyn equipped with a sewing machine, an iron and a 200 pack of flavor ice. Brooklyn based Dusen Dusen was created for fun times, good people and to espouse confidence into all who wear it.
The in-trend exposed, contrasting coloured zip is another feature Ellen Van Dusen has incorporated, which were previously seen in earlier collections of the label’s dresses , making the collection consistent through and through.
Here are a few designs from their Spring 2010 collection:

White Mountain Heart Dress $180, Black Grid Heart Dress $180

Grid Two Tone Tank $100, Black Grid Tank $105, Backpack $110

Oh, and the backpacks, too cool for school for real! School is just an excuse for us to wear backpacks, especially ones that are as hip as the selection in Dusen Dusen spring ’10 collection. Personal favourite? The beloved bleached denim one of course!
