Treasure Me Tan Matte Leather
Monday, 26 April 2010 by Kim PTREASURE ME is a new design from Belen Echandia. It is a satchel type handbag which can be worn on the shoulder or cross body which is how I intend to wear it.
The bag features a zipped flap which opens up to form a pocket the full length of the flap and back of bag.
The flap has a strong magnetic closure which covers the main internal compartment with the usual BE features of key fob, inner zip pocket plus mobile and PDA pocket.
There is another large zipped pocket on the back of the bag which is ideal for items such as keys and mobile phones.
The zip pulls are leather tassels and other design features include the trademark BE tags which can be removed and a stamped BE logo which allows the colour of the beautiful fuschia lining to peep through.

Weight when empty is 750gms or 26oz
The zipped flap pocket would be great for items such as a scarf, pullover, umbrella, nappy / diapers, baby wipes, a BE Kiss Me or Protect Me, make up bag etc. You can put in something larger like a lunch box too but depending on size it could restrict the capacity of the inside compartment.
When the bag is placed on a desk or floor for example and the flap is flipped over, the bag remains upright affording very easy access to the main compartment.
I love the tan matte leather. I think it is going to get a fabulous vintage look. It is soft and will become even squishier over time. I like this in a bag, if you want a uniform look to the leather then this matte leather isn't for you but other leathers are available from BE.
I think the Treasure Me will turn out to be a versatile bag suitable for many uses and occasions.
