Shape Shifters S/S 10
Thursday, 22 July 2010 by Ashley TurowskyZara Simon was born and educated in London. With an innate passion for design she was quick to pursue an interest in jewelery. First studying THE HISTORY OF JEWELERY at Sotheby's and then graduating in BA Jewelery from the prestigious CENTRAL ST MARTINS in 2005. After gaining an internship at Stephen Webster, Zara began creating her own collections, which have been sold to various private clients throughout the UK.

Zara Simon's SS10 collection pays homage to the simplicity and beauty in pure geometric shapes. Each stone is cut in an original and intricate style creating a stunning collection of stand-alone pieces.

Kite shapes, spheres and hexagonal pendants are shown along side pyramid-stacked rings and classic tiered hoop earrings, each with a sense of femininity and elegance whilst maintaining the original design she is now renowned for.
This, now Zara's fourth collection, focuses on the elements of each individual stone and the true essence of jewelery making. Colors are summery and strong with gold being the platform for each creation to come alive.
