Versace Versus

If you’re in the market for a new scent heading into fall 2010, Versace’s Versus is my must-have perfume recommendation for autumn. It’s intensely floral and fruity, with woody undertones that combine to create a beautifully fresh aroma. With extracts of kumquat, star apple, lemon, patchouli and orange flower, the scent is both appropriate for daytime at the office, straight through to an evening out on the town.

I love the scent, and can’t wait to get my hands on it’s matching bath line with body lotion and shower gel. Versus is energetic and bold; a squirt on my neck and wrists is a great way to kick-start my day. It's both romantic and edgy at the same, so whether I'm feeling feminine or rock star chic, I can pull this off!

“I wanted a perfume which would express the strong contrast of a romantic yet tough femininity,” says Donatella Versace. “This intense fragrance is dedicated to a woman who loves to dare.”

Versus was first launched in 1989, as the “rock and roll soul of Versace” and has specialized in accessories. Their most recent Spring/Summer 2010 collection was designed by Christopher Kane and shown in Milan.
