One of my latest beauty discoveries is British company Vaishaly, which has a clinic in central London and produces a fabulous line of skincare products. Their philosophy is based on pure, simple and easy-to-use products that will gently work to improve the look of your skin. Every ingredient serves a purpose and all are naturally sourced and organic.
I recently tried their Cleansing Balm, which is specially designed for skin that’s dry on the surface but oily and congested underneath. Especially heading into the cold, dry winter season, my skin often feels tight as though it’s craving moisture. This cleanser is an instant cure; infused with arctic oat seed lipid and Vitamin E, it will moisturize and pump your skin full of antioxidants. Meanwhile, arnica, ginkgo and calendula complex all soothe dry and irritated skin. The gentle foam cleanser is based on sweet almond and olive oils so it not only smells amazing, but works wonders on your skin.
The pretty bottle is designed with a pump, so you won’t soil a pot full of product by dipping in dirty fingers to scoop out the gel. The cleanser doesn’t leave an oily residue, though lavender, chamomile and ylang ylang oils will help to soothe irritation. Meanwhile, rose absolute is an anti-inflammatory, while geranium boosts cellular function and helps prevent the signs of ageing.
