Painting by Numbers
Wednesday, 16 March 2011 by Ashley TurowskyBeautiful Soul is founded and designed by Nicola Woods, a London College of Fashion graduate. She recently won the Future 100 award for changing the face of everyday business, in addition to winning the Ethical Fashion Forum’s Innovation award in 2009.

The AW2011 collection is titled “Painting by Numbers”, and takes us on a journey through an English country garden. We explore eternal appeal of English tradition and escape the pace of London, if only for a while.
The women’s collection is filled with strong outerwear including capes, blazers, trenches, and cropped jackets. British wool trimmed with carved and engraved vegetable ivory buttons, are seen throughout the styles.
A commercial range of silk is used in dresses that fluidly drape and flatter your shape. Minis, wraps, shift, and shirt-dresses have been produced in silks worthy of the red carpet.

Fans of Beautiful Soul include Lily Cole, Laura Bailey and Sophie Anderton. Retail prices range from £150-£700 GBP.
Samantha Cameron recently said she is “very impressed with what you have managed to achieve in such a short space of time with your business recently congratulated Nicola. Your collection looks beautiful.”
