How to Get the Best Summer Deals?

Have you ever missed out on a great sale? This year, being prepared will ensure you score that must-have item you've been lusting over, but just couldn’t afford at full price.
Whether you're an online shopper or prefer to go to stores, arrive early! Save spare change, gift cards and birthday money, as you will definitely get more for your money in the sales.
You can score deals up to 50 per cent off, especially at large department stores like Selfridges and Harrods. Plan to spend most of the day shopping; large crowds can mean long wait times for change rooms and checkouts. You're definitely not the only one out shopping, so remember that the early bird really does catch the worm.
Be sure that you will actually wear something before you buy it. Don’t just purchase something because it's on sale and thus is a good deal. It’s not a good deal if it sits unworn in your closet until next summer.
Another handy tip: visit the sales a week after they begin. Usually after a few days, stores lower prices to clearance levels, saving you even more money.
Be sure to budget for the summer sales, as the best deals come at the end of the summer months. Stores need to change their inventory for the next season, and this works in your advantage!
