Cannes shoulder bag Crash Leather Black
At long last, my dream of having a BE checkbook cover to match all of my other BE accessories is a reality.
Kudos to Marco, Jackie, Janelle and Aimee for their efforts in making my dream come true. I think they just did a spectacular job. It's simple, yet functional and beautiful. I'm sure you could order it with or without a logo (stamped or BE hole motif) or just leave it plain. I chose the stamped logo. I got one to go with most of my other accessory sets at Christmas when you could order BEC accessories without having to round up a group.
As you can see, it's a larger version of the pen case without the snaps, to allow expansion for storage of ATM and deposit slips until arrival of the statement and time to balance your account. There are two full length deep slots; into the top one you slip the register and into the bottom, the pad containing the checks. I store my ATM slips behind the bottom slot containing the checkpad.
There's a space in the middle that allows room for it to fold over ... you can tuck a pen in there. Only thing I would recommend as an improvement for the "second generation" production is a loop to hold the pen in place and a slit (windowed or plain) in the top slot to store your ATM card. (It would be concealed beneath the register). But, great first edition, don't 'cha think?
