Leather so soft, it almost feels "wet"

This bag just arrived and it's simply gorgeous. Absolutely love the style. And the leather - this new batch of velvet black matte is much improved; so soft and silky, it literally feels "wet". And, I covered in in a gazillion coats of Wilson's TLC with no change in feel or appearance like you get with some conditioners. I went to Orlando today to risk assess a clinic. Slung it all around - love the strap design with the holes/buckles - in and out of the SUV, across check in desks, waiting rooms, etc. and narry a scratch. So, although it feels "fragile" I know it's going to be durable. Despite the compact design, it really holds a lot - I have in here my black crash accessory set - angel purse, kissy, phone case, pen case, checkbook cover, coin purse, wallet, business card holder as well as other odds and ends in the zippered pocket. Thanks to Aims for recommending this one to me. Loved it so much, I BEC'd another one in teal chevre.
